Introduction
Electronic and BioMedical equipment contain over 80% PCB assemblies, including power supply boards, charger boards, main boards, controller boards, and display boards. When these PCB’s reach the end of their lifespan or experience electrical failure, it can result in equipment shutdown or malfunction.
Repairing faulty PCBs requires technical expertise to minimize downtime and save on the costs of new PCBs. Engineers and technicians must have the knowledge and skills to troubleshoot, test, verify, and repair faulty PCBs.
In line with our vision to develop local expertise on board repair, we are offering PCB Repair training to enhance the knowledge, skills, and techniques of engi-neers and technicians in board repairs.

- Understanding on PCB Layout, IC Pin Configuration and Test Point measure-ment of Analog / Digital Board.
- Applying testing and safety procedure of PCB Repair.
- Perform Troubleshooting, Testing and Repair technique of analog and digital board system using Digital Multimeter.
- Analyse waveform and voltage reference to identify status of board assembly.
- Create PCB Repair checklist for New board assembly.
Learning Outcome
- Illustrate PCB Layout, IC Pin Configuration and Test Point measure-ment of Analog / Digital Board.
- Construct Troubleshooting, Testing and Repair technique of analog and digital board system.
- Measure the signal, Voltage and freq-uency of electronic circuit using Digital Multi meter, Scope meter and Huntron Tracker.
